The new 13-inch MacBook

Consider elegance at its best and performance at its finest.. that is how i view the New MacBook.

What is so new about it? According to apple.com this 13-inch Macbook has "new design, new features, new technologies and all engineered to standards that don't exist yet"!

How is that for you?

With it's Ultrathin 13.3-inch LED-backlit display, the seamless glass and instant full screen brightness make everything you see flat-out spectacular. Truly durable and yet beautiful with aluminum unibody enclosure and up to 5x faster NVIDIA graphics performance. The keyboard is advanced, The MacBook keyboard is solid, responsive, and comfortable. Just put your fingers on the crisp keys and you’ll feel pure typing bliss. An illuminated keyboard, a popular feature of MacBook Pro and MacBook Air, now comes standard on the 2.4GHz MacBook model. So when you’re in low-light settings such as airports or lecture halls, you can always see what you’re typing. It’s a luminous feature for anyone on the go. The amazing new trackpad doubles as a button — just press down anywhere and consider it clicked. No separate button means there’s 39 percent more room for your fingers to move on the silky glass surface. Now that Multi-Touch gestures have come to MacBook, all the function is in your fingers. Use two fingers to scroll up and down a page. Pinch to zoom in and out. Swipe with three fingers to flip through your photo libraries. Rotate to adjust an image with your fingertips. Using the new four-finger swipe gesture, swipe up or down to access Exposé modes and left or right to switch between open applications. If you’re coming from a right-click world, you can right-click with two fingers or configure a right-click area on the trackpad. The more you use the Multi-Touch trackpad, the more you’ll wonder what you ever did without it.

To build something truly different, you need to work in a truly different way. Apple designers and engineers work together through every stage of product development. It’s a partnership that makes innovation possible. And it’s exactly how the new MacBook was created. With its breakthrough unibody enclosure, industry-first features, and environmentally sound design, it’s a revolution in the way notebooks are made.

ASIMO the Robot

A robot is a mechanical or virtual agent In practice, it is usually an electro-mechanical system which, by its appearance or movements, conveys a sense that it has intent or agency of its own. The word robot can refer to both physical robots and virtual software agents, but the latter are usually referred to as bots. There is no consensus on which machines qualify as robots, but there is general agreement among experts and the public that robots tend to do some or all of the following: move around, operate a mechanical arm, sense and manipulate their environment, and exhibit intelligent behavior, especially behavior which mimics humans or animals.

ASIMO
(アシモ ashimo) is a humanoid robot created by Honda Robot Company. Standing at 130 cm (4ft 3inches) and weighing 54kgs (119 pounds). The robot resembles a small astronaut wearing a backpack and can walk or run on two feet at speeds up to 6km/h(4.3 mph). ASIMO was created at Honda's Research & Development Wako Fundamental Technical Research Center in Japan. It is the current model in a line of eleven that began in 1986 with EO.

Officially, the name is an acronym for "Advanced Step in Innovative MObility". Honda's official statements claim that the robot's name is not a reference to science fiction writer and inventor of the Three Laws of Robotics, Isaac Asimov.

As of 2007, there are 46 ASIMO units in existence.

Distributor Automation Via Internet (DAVI)

DAVI - Distributor Automation Via Internet. This is just a part of my many to-do in my all-around work in a not-so small business since our operation involves 70 trade and 2o plus farm accounts.

Duplication Again Via Internet (DAVI), that is what i most of the time think. Why? I am to submit a daily Sell-Out-Volume and Inventory to the Sales Office os SanMiguel Feeds,Inc.- Same report I should enter at DAVI. The company ofcourse have a very valid reason for that, i just sometimes feel like not doing it for many reason; (1) duplication of work, (2) our SOV and INV is so transparent for competitors to see, that is in the case of multi-branded distributors, (3) Market penetration is laid out, it sometimes invites if not encourage encrouchment, (4) Trade Receivable is out in the open, it's like you'll have nothing to hide with the company but it's not like we're hiding anything, just that i dont find the importance of putting our trade receivable here. I mean for the distributor's advantage because surely SanMiguel has good use to it.

Anyway these are merely an opinion. I love what i do and enjoy doing it... for now.

VX10000 Voyager

And here we think that only Nokia, Sony Erickson and Samsung are the best mobile phones in the world. Take a look at these LG Phones with their very own attributes and design...

The LG Voyager was released November 2007, with its profound design and features like that of the iPhone $300 is not bad at all. Actually according to ViewScore the LG Voyager wants to be an APPLE iPhone killer, and it could be the very first bona fide contender. It does plenty of things that the iPhone can't, and while it isn't perfect, for many users its shortcomings won't detract from the significant advantages over Apple's device. It packs in an amazingly vast array of features that includes 3G data, an auto-focus camera, true mobile TV, dual 2.8" displays, a full QWERTY keyboard, HTML Web browsing, Bluetooth® Capable, microSDTM Memory Port and the large external touchscreen.

The more you click the more you earn

The original content of this blog was in "Tagalog" but for a very important reason I have to edit it and have everything written in english instead.

In the case of the title of my post, I'd rather keep it that way and mention a bit about it.

Well, here is the sitch i had an adsense account several weeks ago, it was disabled for some significant reason. And that explains the absence of any ads by google in my page. In connection to the title itself however, my concern was actually about invalid clicks, i don't want that to happen here at my site given the chance of having adsense again. True, the more you click the more you'll earn.. but not through a fabricated clicks. Let things happen by itself.

ASSERTIVE COMMUNICATION

Are you the type of person who always say "yes" to your co-employees or to your superiors? If that is your problem, my friend, you need to learn how to communicate assertively. Here is a simple recipe for assertive communication.
  1. Only raise one issue at a time. Only raise one issue at a time so that your communication will be more focused.
  2. Resist the temptation to wound or score points. We have to understand that we assert ourselves. We communicate not to score points, not to wound or injure other people, we are communicating assertively because we believe that what we think our opinion is also of equal value with that of other people.
  3. Use “I” instead of “you.”
  4. Take out all inflammatory or emotive languages including always and never. Never say never. Take out the inflammatory or emotive f language. Be as objective as possible and never use weeping generalizations.
  5. Focus on the issue or the behavior and not the person.
  6. Explain the tangible or intangible effects the behavior has on others including you.
  7. Tell what you would like to see happen. It is not enough that you explain the situation. If you want to be assertive, if you want to be heard, tell what you would like to see happen.
  8. Listen and give others fundamental respect. If you want others to listen to you when you are talking, if you want others to value what you are saying, you should do likewise.
Encourage assertive communication and you will discover a lot of great ideas from your people.
Remember no one has the monopoly of all the knowledge and all the good ideas in the world, so start listening to your people and when you start listening, people will become braver and more courageous to assert themselves and communicate what they are thinking of.
